Owner & General Manager
After joining “My Private Secretary” (MPS) in its 2nd year of operation, Karline liked the business so much, she bought the company! As the owner, she grew the company through a series of expansions and a renaming to MPS Executive Suites. Her hands-on approach, business insight and office management experience has been gained through years of assisting a wide variety of entrepreneurs, corporate businesses, non-profit associations and staying current and competitive with ever-changing technology. After 40 years in business, one thing that has never changed is Karline’s firm commitment to our company’s core values and the consistent delivery of excellent customer service. When not in work mode, Karline’s passion shifts to spending time with family and travelling with her high school sweetheart.
Trish’s wealth of experience comes from 33+ years in various administrative and project management-driven roles. Her dedication to the team, hardworking and helpful attitude, and aptitude for managing a wide scope of tasks have been proven time and again, all while maintaining her ever-present sense of humour! Trish’s favourite thing about working at MPS is being able to help our new clients get situated and settled. When she knows that she was able to support or help someone out, clients or colleagues alike, it makes her day! Outside the office, Trish can be found lounging camp side with her family and friends, and of course her two beautiful dogs.
Joining us from Ireland Emily is our newest and very welcome addition to the MPS Team, having joined in January 2022. She brings with her 4 years of customer service experience, a very outgoing personality and a love for helping people. In her spare time, Emily is usually off traveling, walking/exploring, trying out new food, or going on adventures with her sister or partner.
Julz has worked in administration for over a decade, in various industries. After starting her own company with friends in the Philippines, Julz moved back to Canada to be closer to her family. Shortly after starting with MPS, she found her happy place in Association Management as it allows her to help people that help people. Not only does it tie together her love for administration (and excel!) it also provides the opportunity to give back to her community through our wide range of association clients. When she’s not in the office you can find Julz exploring the outdoors with her husband, entertaining in the kitchen, or snuggling up with her puppy.
Assistant Association Manager
Ryan is a go-getter who welcomes new challenges and responsibilities thrown his way. Characteristics that describe Ryan are determined, dependable, and diligent. One of the things Ryan enjoys most at MPS is getting to know our diverse clients and learning their unique preferences to better assist them however he can. Outside of the office he will often be found socializing, listening to/playing music and actively exercising (usually powerlifting or hiking)! While inside the office, Ryan is on the path of his goals to learn and broaden his knowledge/skills into more leading responsibilities and to help grow the company in a meaningful way.
Marketing Lead & Association Administration
Since joining MPS, Aleena has dived in headfirst. She has continually displayed her creativity, her straightforward mentality, and reliability every day. We appreciate having her and her multitude of skills on our team! When she isn’t flexing her creativity, you will find her flexing in the gym where she powerlifts 4 times a week! She says the practice helps her discipline and in turn obtain her goals throughout various programs. It is also her favourite way to balance out work/life stress.
Over 23 years of working with MPS Executive Suites, Deserae’s loyal and thoughtful attitude has shone through as she has effectively worked from a senior administrator to a full-cycle bookkeeper. She is a lifelong learner who loves the variety of tasks she encounters daily. In her spare time, she loves spending her time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She is also passionate about traveling!
After more than 20 years at MPS, Dianne’s cheerful and optimistic personality is still filled with appreciation of all the clients she has been so fortunate to work with over the years. As a key member of the bookkeeping staff, she is trustworthy, loyal and enjoys spending time with family and friends, while enjoying Vancouver.
Many people will recognize Jenny as our former From Desk Coordinator. While she’s still with MPS she has now moved into our backroom focusing on more administrative work, which she loves because it offers her an exciting variety throughout the day. When she isn’t busy at reception or helping our clients, she loves to take in our view (we don’t blame her – she has one of the best seats in the office!). Her personal time is often filled with trying new restaurants with friends, eating cake (or food in general), and travelling. Fun fact, Jenny has worked in Japan, and is one of the Board of Directors for the JET Alumni Association!
Nikki mixes a bright personality with a can-do attitude and loves being a part of a team that is so friendly while being efficient enough to keep all the pieces flowing effortlessly. With international customer service / business experience and a passion for the combination of the mountains and ocean in Vancouver, she loves exploring and learning as much as she can about anything and everything. She is caring, helpful and is happy to be a part of the MPS team.
