As Vancouver’s busy business hub continues to grow, finding affordable and available office space and support services can be a challenge for business owners. That’s where MPS (formerly My Private Secretary) comes in. Since 1981, we’ve been providing executive and virtual office spaces, as well as virtual assistants and association management services, to a diverse range of clients.
Our clients benefit from a full range of on-site and virtual business services, enabling them to work more efficiently without the hassle of managing their own staff or space. Owner & General Manager
Karline’s journey with “My Private Secretary” began in its second year, eventually leading her to acquire the company. Through her leadership, it evolved into MPS Executive Suites, offering top-notch office management services to entrepreneurs, corporate entities, and non-profit organizations. With over 40 years of invaluable experience, Karline remains dedicated to upholding the company’s core values and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. Known for her hands-on approach, she actively keeps pace with advancing technology. Outside of work, Karline cherishes traveling with her high school sweetheart and quality time with her family.
Trish (She/Her)
Community Manager
Drawing from 33 years of administrative and project management experience, Trish enriches MPS with a vast wealth of expertise. Her diligent and accommodating demeanor, coupled with her adeptness in handling diverse tasks, positions her as an indispensable asset within the team. Trish derives genuine satisfaction from aiding both new clients and colleagues, finding fulfillment in simplifying their lives. Beyond work, she finds joy in the company of her family, friends, and two furry companions, often unwinding at the campsite.

Ryan is a dedicated and reliable team member at MPS, continuously seeking out fresh challenges with enthusiasm. He takes pleasure in building relationships with our diverse clientele, striving to understand their individual needs and preferences to offer superior assistance. Within the office, Ryan is dedicated to expanding his expertise and capabilities, aspiring to assume greater leadership roles and make significant contributions to the company’s advancement. Outside of his professional pursuits, Ryan finds joy in socializing, immersing himself in music, and staying active through weightlifting and hiking.

Association Manager (On Maternity Leave)
Drawing from more than ten years of administrative experience spanning diverse industries, Julz enriches MPS with her versatile skill set. Driven by her passion for aiding others, she found her niche in Association Management, where she thrives in supporting our association clients and making a tangible difference. Julz’s affinity for Excel is matched only by her dedication to community service through her professional endeavors. Beyond the confines of the office, she finds solace in outdoor adventures with her husband, whipping up culinary delights in the kitchen, and cherishing precious moments with her puppy and daughter.

Senior Administrative Specialist
Jenny’s presence at MPS is a comforting constant; having initially held the position of Front Desk Coordinator, she seamlessly transitioned into backroom administration, a role she finds both stimulating and fulfilling. She relishes the dynamic nature of her daily tasks. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jenny finds joy in soaking up the breathtaking vistas from our office and embarking on culinary adventures at new eateries with friends. With past experience working in Japan, she stays abreast of the latest Japanese trends, adding a touch of international flair to her interests.

Since joining MPS, Aleena has left an indelible mark on the team, showcasing her creativity, reliability, and innovative spirit on a daily basis. Her contributions have proven invaluable to our success, and her forward-thinking insights are instrumental in future-proofing the company. Beyond the confines of work, Aleena is a dedicated powerlifting athlete, devoting four weekly sessions to training to uphold discipline and pursue her aspirations. She finds solace in this pursuit, striking the perfect balance for managing the stresses of work and life.

For over 23 years, Deserae has been a cornerstone of MPS Executive Suites, showcasing unwavering loyalty and thoughtfulness throughout her tenure. Starting as a senior administrator, she has ascended to the role of a full-cycle bookkeeper, relishing the diverse tasks and continuous learning opportunities each day brings. Outside of her professional commitments, Deserae treasures moments spent with her husband and two daughters, as well as indulging her passion for travel.

As a pivotal member of the bookkeeping team, Dianne is recognized for her unwavering reliability, trustworthiness, and steadfast commitment to her responsibilities. Enrico is among the newest faces at MPS, contributing up to six years of pertinent experience to the team. Known for his outgoing nature, quick wit, and philosophical insights, as described by his best friend, Enrico thrives on client interactions and delivering exceptional customer service throughout his workday. During his downtime, he frequents the gym and immerses himself in all things superheroes, anime, and Star Wars, in that precise order of preference.

Senior Administrative Specialist
Victoria recently joined the MPS team, bringing four years of experience as an Executive Assistant and a background in Human Resources from a two-year tenure as a recruiter. She appreciates the supportive team culture at MPS, where everyone collaborates to assist both colleagues and clients beyond expectations. Beyond the office, Victoria delights in preparing delicious meals, exploring fashion trends, and admiring Mid-Century art and architecture. Her ambition is to excel in her role, taking on additional responsibilities to facilitate positive growth within her team and the organization. Victoria is known for her empathetic, calm, and optimistic nature, finding fulfillment in aiding others and advocating for personal growth through kindness.
